1) Tribal nail art at Vena Cava. Designers Lisa Mayock and Sophie Buhai applied nail polish to model's fingers for a cool, colorful, tribal look. Hmm, nail polish on your fingers. We may get up the courage to try this look for ourselves!
2) Johnny Weir interview at Chris Benz presentation. We loved interviewing the style setting ice skater. Mr. Weir is always a fun interview and wears the most interesting clothes! At the presentation he, of course, wore head to toe Chris Benz.
3) ADAM runway show. Actually, the runway show wasn't the only thing we loved. We also got a chance to chat with designer Adam Lippes backstage. We love designers that are super passionate about what they do and Adam Lippes certainly is. His passion definitely showed throughout his collection which features several "ooh-ahh" worthy pieces.
3) The Lake & Stars. Not only did we love the pieces shown by the Ecco Domani winning label at their presentation, but we particularly appreciated the fact that they used model of all sizes to showcase their lingerie collection. That in and of itself deserves a round of applause.
5) Backstage at BCBG. Not only do we love interviewing Max Azria, but backstage at BCBG is always an experience. Mr. Azria has so many celebrity fans that backstage sightings are always fun. Not to mention, we love the clothes!
So there you have it. Five of our favorite moments. We really had too many to name. As always, Fashion Week gave us an opportunity to meet and learn about so many great established and up and coming designers that we were kinda sad to see it end.
