Especially since, according to the New York Times, perms are making a come back, except this time they're called body waves and they're not as severe as the perms of the 80's. Think soft, pretty waves a la Kate Hudson, pictured above. Treatments can be pricey (averaging about $150 to $400 a session) but we have to admit, it's a great option for ladies with straight hair that want a little more volume and don't have time to curl their hair every day.
